reflectometric impulse measurement technique[edit]
I was looking for an article about reflectometric impulse measurement technique, with the acronym RIMT, which came here. There is no article on it yet, but it is similar to Time-domain reflectometry, so I thought I would redirect until an article is written. But it seems that RIMT goes here. - @Gah4: I added a hatnotes to the article, please see that it makes sense. --Muhandes (talk) 11:05, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
- Is it too strange to do Gah4 (talk) 21:55, 25 October 2019 (UTC) and use the redirect? (That is the capitalization for the current redirect.)
- @Gah4: The first rule of Wikipedia:Hatnote is
Link directly to other articles ... Linking to redirects is typically not preferred
. It's not a big deal, if you feel that this merits an exception, go for it. --Muhandes (talk) 17:07, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

- I suspect that you are right, but what is really needed is its own article. The nice thing about redirects is that they are hints to writing an article. Gah4 (talk) 19:52, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
