Fair use rationale for Image:RTL 7 logo.gif[edit]

Image:RTL 7 logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: MOVED. Everyone agreed on to move it to RTL 7 C0re1980 (talk) 19:37, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RTL 7 (Netherlands)RTL 7 – There was just one other channel under the name of RTL 7, the Polish RTL 7. However the Polish RTL 7 rebranded into TVN 7 in 2002. So there's no need for a localized suffix anymore and at the top of the article a cross link to the Polish TVN 7 could be placed C0re1980 (talk) 16:37, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's policy on article titles.
  • Support - No need for disembaguation after Polish channel was renamed, also support the see also notice. -- [[ axg ◉ talk ]] 17:32, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support; seems reasonable to me. Disambiguation no longer needed as long as we have that hatnote. bobrayner (talk) 00:59, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

The HMG Veronica, Yorin and RTL 7 are technically a same channel that just had rebrands and revamps over the years, just like how TV10 Gold became TV10, Fox/Fox 8, V8, and then SBS Veronica, and how Fox Kids became Jetix, and then Disney XD. JSH-alive/talk/cont/mail 04:19, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
