Untitled[edit]

I deleted most of this article, which was a previously-deleted copyright violation. I do see references to Raaso, but can't even tell where it's located. Can we get some more detail? A summary of the refugee issue would be nice, too. bikeable (talk) 18:29, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

I am trying to add a map to Raaso Page, wondering if any one could help me how to do it!!

Is "Raso" the correct English spelling (as used in the cited source)? If so, I propose moving this article to "Raso." -- Gyrofrog (talk) 13:55, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Raaso" and "Raso" are two different and distinct places[edit]

"Raaso" is an existing Ethiopian town and therefore different from "Raso" for this reason moving this article to "Raso" would be a grave mistake. please note that "Raaso" and "Raso" are two different places, please make some research before reaching this conclusion.maxman (talk)01:10, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please check the following link to see "Raaso" on Goodel Map. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=6.5489326,41.786002&z=14&t=h&hl=en-GB maxman 23:51, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, in that case, do you know the location of "Raso?" Note that we can always disambiguate, for example "Raso (Mirab Imi)". If Google Maps uses the "Raaso" spelling then perhaps that's reason enough to leave it alone. However, I'm now wondering if the article's reference is talking about this place, or the other "Raso" (it's this article's only source and is cited four times). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 14:56, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The name "Shekhosh"[edit]

This name does not exist, it was probably misspelled by the person who wrote the cited article. the proper names for these groups are "Sheekhaal" "Sheekhaash" "Shiiqaaal" "Sheeqaal" or "faqi/Fiqi Cumar.--93.96.44.224 (talk) 15:27, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
