Yes, I Know I've Cut A Lot[edit]

When I first came across this article, it was a combination fan tribute site and promotional piece for a revival effort run by a small, but dedicated group of fans. Neither of these things are appropriate for Wikipedia (WP:NOT). Working in good faith, I have done my best to bring this article up to Wikipedia standard. Though drastically cut down from what it was, this article still tells the most notable parts of the story. Anyone reading it will receive a properly encyclopedic overview of the subject.

While the in-depth analysis may be interesting to some, WP is about notability and a 40-year-old flop does not merit the same exhaustive coverage as, say, Dear Evan Hansen or West Side Story. Moreover, this article relied heavily on a backstage journal kept by the book writer, William Gibson, including lengthy quotations contained within the footnotes. Besides being a primary source and thus less desirable than a secondary one, the paraphrasing of the journal and extensive quotes would have likely put this article within the realm of copyvio. Finally, I reduced the number of cites, as there were several instances of sequential cites from the same source.

Gonna link the wiki article here though, for those a little more curious who want more of the story ;)
