  • Comments: Well done on the promotion - but I have a few more issues which probably should be addressed - I haven't read the above, so please excuse me if it has been repeated:
  • Shankar has never been credited as S. Shankar, so it should be purely mononymously as Shankar.
Our article points out to S. Shankar (probably to avoid dab). Vensatry (talk) 17:44, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Soundarya R. Ashwin has changed her name since - how do we deal with that?
Re-typed as "Soundarya Rajinikanth". Kailash29792 (talk) 09:24, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Was he really a playback singer or merely a narrator for that particular song in Kochadaiiyaan.
I would go with "spoken dialogue", like Arvind Swamy was in "Theemai Dhaan Vellum" (Thani Oruvan) and Cochin Haneefa in "Vaama Duraiyamma" (Madrasapattinam). Kailash29792 (talk) 09:24, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
We should go by what the sources say. IIRC, the tracklist credited his name (as among the playback singers) for a song each in Tamil and Hindi. Vensatry (talk) 17:44, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • The difference between a special, guest and cameo appearance - Kuselan and its Telugu version were probably guest - he had a good 45 minute role. (Also address Ra.One, Bulandi, Bhagya Debata, Peddarayudu, Valli etc)
In Kuselan it was an extended guest appearance. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:24, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Depends upon the title cards/sources. Vensatry (talk) 17:44, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Could this be better represented and changed on the article? Kuselan for example certainly was not a 'blink and miss' cameo. Editor 2050 (talk) 23:12, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Unknown" role names should be largely avoided - was it that difficult to get hold of a 1995 Rajinikanth movie?
To the best of my knowledge, no sources are available. Vensatry (talk) 17:44, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Naman Ramachandran claims to have seen each Rajinikanth film twice. I regret neither me nor Vensatry asking him. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:24, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • R. Thyagarajan links elsewhere.
I believe it should be de-linked as I am unsure whether the director in question is Prashant's father. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:24, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, the director is (was?) Devar's son-in-law; we don't have an article on him. Vensatry (talk) 17:44, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Editor 2050 (talk) 09:14, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

    • Some more:
      • Why do some film roles have inverted commas for Inspector. See the difference between Dosti Dushmani and Insaaf Kaun Karega. Do we even need these monikers like Inspector, Sub Inspector and Dr?
@Editor 2050: That's how he is addressed in those films actually.  — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 10:57, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Ssven2: - this logic is bizarre. He's not "Chitti The Robot" or "Sivaji The Boss" or Superstar Ashok Kumar" - only the names should remain. Plus there's so much inconsistency - some are in inverted commas, others are not. Editor 2050 (talk) 22:13, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Editor 2050: I've removed the professions.  — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 03:59, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
      • Kuselan and Kathanayakudu released on the same day. I know technically, Kuselan is the original, but do we look at it alphabetically?
@Editor 2050: Not really. Kuselan was the more recognised one. But, it can be changed alphabetically. Vensatry and Kailash29792, I leave this to you.  — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 10:57, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
