Born: Hollywood CA 24 October 1916. Died: Sarasota FL 1 March 2014. Interred: Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, CA. Parents: Frederick and Virginia Reibold. Married: Ralph B. Chapin 1938. Survived by: 3 children , 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

The Chapins had a home in Clifton, Clatsop County, Oregon over-looking the Columbia River. At the bottom of the drive to their house was "Clifton Farm", home of the Boehm family. Timothy C. Boehm and I were schoolmates. We visited the Chapins a few times at their house. Nice people. I believe my late father was acquainted with the Chapins as well. While posted to U.S. Army Fire Department, Warner Barracks, Bamberg, Germany (1981 to 1987), we had (fire service) metal back-pack sprayers made by "Chapin Mfg. Co. Batavia, NY".
