[edit]Wiki requests citations for quotes. This quote did not appear in the one Reference listed for this entry. Please cite or provide a link:
Reese recalled, "After a while, I got to keeping his files in order. His file was astounding! He must have had 30 file drawers of clippings, and I kept them in order. I also kept the place in order. When I first met Wally he had been working in the same room for 12 years, so there was a lot of clutter. The first time I saw his studio I couldn't figure out what was hanging from the ceiling. There were all these things with grey felt on them. They turned out to be hundreds of model airplanes on strings, covered with dust."
Additionally, Reese's remarks, after describing his own duties for Wood, which is pertinent, goes on to discuss Woods cleanliness, which seems tangential to the discussion of Reese as an artist. -- Tenebrae 16:06, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
I don't remember where I got the quote. But I'll keep looking. Maybe it will turn up. Pepso 21:16, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Reesecover.JPG
[edit]Image:Reesecover.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]This short article currently has a self-portrait, a magazine cover and two book covers. Four pieces of art, even with specific discussion of each, is beyond what we can legitimately claim for fair use. While two pieces of art would probably be safest, I'm just going to remove one of the books. Since the magazine cover is a fantasy image, I'll remove the book cover with the fantasy image and keep the one with naturalistic people. I'll also enlarge it a little, since the guideline on default-sizing allows a larger size if necessary to make out details --Tenebrae (talk) 15:21, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
