Please merge all the minor league seasons (2004-7) into one subsection.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 06:38, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They have been merged. Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 11:29, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I will spend some time with this article over the weekend.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 13:45, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Professional career
  • Is 2004 his first professional experience? It seems like the San Diego Padres subsection should say that he did not acquire any professional experience during that time.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:29, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In general, I think you should link to season articles in the text. A sentence like "He gave up three runs over seven innings while striking out six, but he received a no decision in a 7–6 victory over the San Francisco Giants" should link to the proper Giants season as should all references to teams he is not playing for.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:44, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, I do not think this is necessary. I have never needed to do that before when working on a good article, and I do not believe I need to now. Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 11:19, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Dude, you have about a half dozen GA credits. I am approaching 300. Believe me when I say, that linking to the team season helps the reader a lot more. You should go back and fix the other few GAs you have. Although I do mostly football and basketball this is still relevant in baseball. Teams differ from year to year. Please reformat your team links and try to make a habit of it. Also, if you review, try to get other editors to link to team seasons.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 15:00, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Changed team links. Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 17:55, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please link the team seasons and MLB years on first appropriate use. I.E., not team seasons for transactions to a franchise.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 14:29, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
