14th Amendment

[edit]

@Masem: Should we list the 14th Amendment in the infobox's "Laws applied" section, in addition to the 6th, since this deals with incorporation, or only the 6th as it already does? --1990'sguy (talk) 22:26, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think in needs to, when reading the majority opinion as it talks heavily of incorporation. Let's put it this way: it can't hurt to have it there. --Masem (t) 22:43, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

retroactivity still at issue

[edit]
the ramos decision did not resolve whether it is retroactive.

scotus has granted cert to answer that question, but not yet heard argument or issued a decision. article should be updated with more info, by someone who knows more than i do.
