Hey, what about "Everything and a Kite", a hilarious book I read last week... Not even mentioned here. But as English is not my 1st Language, and I don't know anything about the Background et cetera, I do not feel capable of writing anything about it... --84.128.101.45 19:01, 9 April 2006 (UTC) de-wp: Zaap[reply]

Were his twin 3 kids born before those on Everybody Loves Raymond? If not, it's a coincidence? If so, it's worth noting that the idea came from his own life.

Since every episode of the show ends with the tagline, "Inspired by the comedy of Ray Romano", and since as in real life his brother on the show is a policeman, it is probably obvious that the crux of the show comes from his real life. I recognize that this isn't always the case for the title character of sitcoms, but it is in this case, in Bernie Mac's case, in Jerry Seinfeld's case.... -- Jalabi99 23:22, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist probably needs to be mentioned. He does some commentary for the first DVD and he indicates it was the most exposure he got before Everybody Loves Raymond. (Paraphrasing)--T. Anthony 05:30, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this page mention that King of Queens is a spinoff of Everybody Loves Raymond? Kevin James' charachter on KoQ is different than his charachter on Raymond. Though there are some notable similarities, even the KoQ page does not claim that it is a spinoff.--Srwm4 23:37, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Biography?

[edit]

Who wrote that biography, 'rags to riches' part? That's either a joke or a family member. That's 1 long wiki violation after another. Aceholiday (talk) 11:52, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?

[edit]

The article states

"...Romano, an Italian-American (originally from the commune-town of Scigliano, in the Province of Cosenza, in the Calabria region of Italy), was born in Queens, New York..."

This seems self-contradictory: isn't one "originally from" the place where s/he is born?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.152.146.78 (talk) 04:55, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The first reference link does not exist. When you click it, it does not have any information on Mister Romano. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RG415WBFA (talkcontribs) 22:58, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed it is not of Scigliano, but of Trenta, the Romano they have ancestries from there. Many are also distributed in the territory of the homonym province. Some of them we quote Filippo Romano it is a known executive of local party, as well as a distant cousin of Ray Romano, him been born to Cosenza. I hope to have clarified the matter. [edit]

Is Ray Romeo Rose, as Kaufman was Clifton? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.4.142.102 (talk) 11:43, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A screenshot of this article being changed to 'hypothetical' ("he might have been known for his role" for example) has made it to www.reddit.com/r/all which is seen by hundreds of thousands. So hypothetical vandalism will probably happen again. Lots42 (talk) 12:53, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The page appears to be missing his appearance in The Green Room with Paul Provenza Season 2 Episode 1.
