Lead

[edit]

Per WP:LEAD, "The lead serves as an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important contents", "The lead should stand on its own as a concise overview of the article's topic", and "the emphasis given to material in the lead should roughly reflect its importance to the topic, according to reliable, published sources. Apart from basic facts, significant information should not appear in the lead if it is not covered in the remainder of the article." The edit made here, with the edit summary, "Restrucure, clean up, eliminate repetition", shows either a lack of awareness of, or simple indifference to, that guideline. As a summary of the article's most important contents, the lead obviously repeats, to some extent, other material in the article. To "eliminate repetition" in the way that edit did is to significantly degrade the quality of the article as a whole. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 19:50, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
