Removed dubious statement[edit]

Per the docs in {{dubious}}, I moved this unsourced statement from "MLS doubleheaders" to here:

"Doubleheaders make up the majority of attendance records above 12,000 fans when discounting the Portland Thorns and Angel City FC."

The exceptions seem increasingly arbitrary. Are we going to add teams to the list, like San Diego, DC, KC, and NJ/NY as they start to turn out 12k+ to standalone matches more often? -Socccc (talk) 03:46, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We should probably limit the list to something like the top 25 in each category. If we don't, the lists could get pretty big. KitHutch (talk) 13:46, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

For a page titled "record attendances", it could also be limited to the current records for each competition. Longer top attendance lists are more appropriate for league or standalone pages, and National Women's Soccer League attendance and Major League Soccer attendance exist. -Socccc (talk) 13:54, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
