Proposed deletion[edit]

This article was proposed for deletion with the commment:

Article which does not refer to any specific company and serves only to provide a place for people to put spam links.

Neither of these is a grounds for deletion.

The first claim, that no specific company is referred to, is false. The article was originally created as a stub for the musical instrument company, which is a significant one in the history of American fretted instrument manufacture. This is still the first listed company. At worst, if there's no prospect of expanding the stub, it might end up as a redirect to an article on this more general topic.

The second claim, that the article has been the target for spam links, is true, but is not in itself grounds for deletion. Protection at most. Andrewa (talk) 08:28, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
