I suggest that this page and the companion Ephemeral ports page be combined into the Port number page.

Additionally, this page is very unclear about who controls assignments. It claims both IANA and ICANN are the current registrars. "(or by Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) before March 21 2001[1])" and "Since 21 March 2001 the registry agency is ICANN"
