AMAZING!

[edit]

Reign is an AMAZING series! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.211.205.194 (talkcontribs) 08:05, 18 May 2006

While I could not agree with you less (especially as what you've said is clearly POV), perhaps the language used in this article could use a little bit of neutrality adjustment. Liking a series is not a reason to tag for NPOV ... but there are some phrases I'm not comfortable with. -- Miwa * talk * contribs ^_^ 06:31, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article has serious issues. Go look at other anime articles. They have plot descriptions with depth and character descriptions. This is just "uhhh the show had trouble." 07:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Alternate Versions

[edit]

Regional releases, between USA, Japan, and Taiwan, vary significantly -- to where characters names/profiles are swapped. However, most descriptions of these variations have been anecdotal on fan message boards. A comprehensive comparison would greatly enhance this entry, as it's something of a known issue for people seeking to own copies of this series.

Fair use rationale for Image:Reign-alexander DVD cover.JPG

[edit]

Image:Reign-alexander DVD cover.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Overhaul

[edit]

Will be working on overhauling this article over the next week or so as I watch this show for the first time in a number of years. Quiddity99 (talk) 18:33, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

Confused

[edit]

It states in the article, "Desiring to attain 'speed', Alexander heads to the woods with allies Philotas and Hephaestion, where he tames a wild man eating horse." Did he tame a wild man who was eating a horse, or tame a man-eating horse? The lack of a hyphen implies the former, while common sense would assume the latter. Can someone with familiarity clarify this? -- Atamachat 20:12, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed the article to add the hyphen which was mistakenly left out by myself when writing the plot summary. Quiddity99 (talk) 22:26, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

Peter Chung's contribution?

[edit]

Does anybody know if Chung was allowed to influence the series' plot and dialogue? (To Aristotle) "Recklessness is speed beyond one's capacity to control. But might in some cases increased speed lead to increased capacity?" (His response) "A horse that eats its rider is neither steed nor speed."

(To Diogenes) "I will grant you one wish. But be warned - I will take from Athens an object just as valuable as that gift." (His response) "Move to the left six inches. You're casting a shadow." (later) "Diogenes asked for the sun! So Alexander will bask in Athens' prosperity, which is like the sun."
