Response to proposed deletion[edit]

Shortly after this article was created, it was proposed for deletion with the concern that "This is basically another article for a topic which is covered at Family planning" Kudpung

A Reproductive life plan is a tool that is sometimes used in family planning, just as a budget or a financial plan are tools that may be used in financial planning. The CDC has recommended making an explicit reproductive life plan, as a tool for clarifying what one's reproductive goals and values are, and to help identify necessary steps to achieving those goals.
Family planning is a huge area, so the main article should (eventually) give an overview, leaving particular aspects for other articles. This article covers one specific aspect.
If it is felt that a separate article on this topic is premature, this article could be merged (as a distinct section) into the Family planning article, but it seems like a reasonable piece to split out. Zodon (talk) 06:56, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
