blog *really* that notable? ==

x There are so many RDA training resources out there; why does this article only mention this one? It's not exactly the most notable one out there; catalogers are much more likely to be interested in the official RDA Toolkit (which currently gets half a sentence in this article), or Chris Oliver's and Adam Schiff's widely-used explanations of the new code (not mentioned at all in the article). Don't get me wrong; it looks like a great blog. But the world is filled with great blogs; is this one really such an integral part of RDA cataloging that we need to know its Alexa rank and whether or not it is archived in the Wayback Machine? Thoughts? Sandbergja (talk) 14:26, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I expanded the article to include a section on training materials, and the RDA Blog is now a subsection under that. I also got rid of the stats about the blog (Alexa ranking, etc.), which seemed inappropriate considering that RDA, not a personal blog, is the focus of this article. "Official RDA"

[edit]

The initial RDA was abandoned by the JSC in favor of a new model which is called "Official RDA" (as opposed to RDA 2.0 or New RDA). There is no mention of "Official RDA" in this article or the fact that has still not been adopted by the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC). NightBear (talk) 17:39, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
