corrected Return 3 release date

[edit]

I made a couple of minor changes. I added a bit more info to the Return 1 synopsis, and corrected the release date info for Return 3[1]. -- BBlackmoor (talk) 17:57, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

first movie title

[edit]

The proper title for the first ROTLD movie is 'The' Return of the Living Dead. Also 4 and 5 were filmed with the hope of a theatrical release (despite appreances to the contrary) therefore they aren't "made for TV". (Alphaboi867 03:43, 11 January 2006 (UTC))[reply]

2's poster resembles that to Fright Night

[edit]

2's poster resembles that to Fright Night. Also, this entry suggests that electrocution can destroy the revenants.

Trioxin Barrel 800 #

[edit]

The number is currently in use by Pilgrim Telephone, they're a "telecommunications company" out of Lexington, MA. It is an adult sex line for "Intimate Connections", and is a $1.99 a minute by credit card charge. The number from the barrel is 1-800-454-8000, and all information above can be backed up by calling the number and doing a web search for "Pilgrim Telephone". A few years ago if you called it you just got this weird series of beeps.-- RaScarabous 05:31, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Below is an image of the message on the Trioxin Barrels in Return of the Living Dead, taken from the DVD.

This should all be enough information to validate the comment in the trivia section of the article "Return Of The Living Dead". The comment reads as follows, "If the emergency telephone number printed on the canisters of the contaminated dead is dialed, a sex hotline will be reached. [dubious — see talk page]". -- RaScarabous 05:43, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:TheReturnOfTheLivingDead2.jpg

[edit]

Image:TheReturnOfTheLivingDead2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]

The image Image:Return of the living deadposter.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Could be added now but probably better to wait until it actually comes out. Make sure there is a source for it either way. DaffyBridge (talk) 19:38, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
