Suicide or Revlon?[edit]

"He has said that REVS is short for SUICIDE REVS" I thought it was REVLON. One of us must be mistaken.

Revs is not short for anything. Sometimes he wrote Revlon, sometimes he writes Suicide Revs, but his tag is and has always been Revs.70.18.40.61

I read Suicide Revs in a New York Times article, but can't truly say if Revlon is wrong.

Poetry?!?[edit]

Revs is far more famous for writing his autobiographical stories in subway tunnels than writing any kind of poetry. A few examples: http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=32710191&size=o http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=30886959&size=o http://www.flickr.com/photos/ensel/148882018/in/pool-34777310@N00/ More can be found online. It should also be noted that when Revs ended his partnership with Cost, he began making art in tunnels with a graffiti artist named Scope, and they were arrested together.70.18.40.61 16:51, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Revs Documentary[edit]

Here is a documentary about Revs and Soup putting up a piece in Brooklyn. It's called "Teenage Piece", by Queens graf artist Rayco:
