History of this article

[edit]

This article was created, mostly by Sym1, in early 2014. It was flagged for copyright violation, and deleted by Moonriddengirl.

I compared the deleted article with the source of which it was specifically charged to be an illicit derivation, removed the problematic parts, made some changes, relaunched the result as a draft, and notified Moonriddengirl of this. She pointed out that it was also illicitly derived from other sources; but instead of zapping the draft and berating me, she kindly did the janitorial work herself. (Our discussion of the matter is here.)

Tips of the hat to Moonriddengirl, Snaevar, and Lopifalko. -- Hoary (talk) 01:04, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced bits

[edit]

Here are some bits of the original article that I tentatively retained, but later commented out and am now deleting:

  • It has five employees and a well-equipped darkroom.
  • The most recent Icelandic nominees [for the four listed awards] are: [[Ragnar Axelsson]], Einar Falur Ingólfsson,<ref name="Dagbók" /> Bjargey Ólafsdóttir, Guðmundur Ingólfsson, and Katrín Elvarsdóttir.<ref group="n">Their personal websites: [http://www.efi.is/ Einar Falur Ingólfsson], [http://english.umm.is/UMMenglish/Artists/Artist/337 Bjargey Ólafsdóttir] and [http://www.katrinelvarsdottir.com/ Katrín Elvarsdóttir].</ref>
  • Reprints are sold from its collection. Admission is free.

If these (or updated/corrected versions thereof) can be sourced, they can be readded. -- Hoary (talk) 00:56, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
