Expansion[edit]

This page needs major expansion, and some unit lineage needs to be clarified as provided by the Rhode Island National Guard. One of their units, The 173d Infantry Detachment (LRS)[1] claims its lineage back to the 26th Cavalry, which never saw Rhode Island, let alone the CONUS. --207.114.206.48 (talk) 07:41, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
