Removed Unsourced Statement

[edit]

Can someone source: "In 1985 Rhys was crowned Taranaki All-Area Disco Dancing Champion for his routine danced to "I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper"."?? I sounds like it could be a prank, so I removed it until it can substantiated. Nicolasdz 01:42, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pirate Radio

[edit]

Why is there no mention of his role in Pirate Radio? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.142.83.100 (talk) 05:45, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's listed in the "Films" section, with both that title and The Boat that Rocked. There's also a line about it in the main text of the article.-gadfium 07:54, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Rhys Darby. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it.  Done. I removed both the original pdf and archived pdf links because they were both bad. 5Q5 (talk) 14:40, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I agree the archive link was bad, but I found one that works.-gadfium 19:33, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Interest in cryptozoology and his two ghost sightings

[edit]

Here is a link to an interview article that discusses his casting in the X-Files and his interest in cryptozoology (cohosts a podcast) and the paranormal: "X-Files guest star Rhys Darby wants to believe," Feb 1 2016.

Guns Akimbo role missing?

[edit]

I noticed that his role in Guns Akimbo as the homeless man, Glenjamin, was missing. I’m not confident in my abilities to add to a wiki of any sort so I feel this would be better than nothing. Some Complete Moron (talk) 17:55, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Figured it out. I’m blind, it was under filmography. Some Complete Moron (talk) 17:57, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Books

[edit]

The article could do with reference to the books Darby has written: a book version of This Way to Spaceship (2012), and the "Buttons McGinty" series of children's books: The Top Secret Undercover Notes of Buttons McGinty (2018), The Top Secret Interdimensional Notes of Buttons McGinty (2019), and The Top Secret Intergalactic Notes of Buttons McGinty (2020). 203.211.110.16 (talk) 03:13, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
