When Richard Anthony Hewson recorded The Crunch it was a fictional band because Hewson has played and recorded all instruments by himself. Clouds across the moon was recorded by Hewson and his wife. --Melly42 19:23, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Rah Band had more hits that has been noted, certainly at least one more made the Top 40 that being 'Falcon' in late 1980. 'Messages from the stars' made the lower 40s in 1983. There needs to be a mention that the Rah Band were at the forefront of the jazz funk movement in the early 1980s, along with 'Shakatak', 'Level 42', 'Freeez', et al. Come to think of it the band had loads of singles out in the early 80s, many on different labels. Richard's wife came 'on board' for many of the band's singles after 1981, so maybe they can't be called fictitious at all. Richard may have played all of the instruments, but his wife sang vocals on many tracks....isn't that what the 'Pet shop boys' do? And they aren't fictitious LOL.
