"His character is learned to be gay"
[edit]This appears on the "Career" section. Excuse me for a asking, since english is not my mother tongue: Shouldn't it be "His character has learned" or "His character learned"? Thanks Kvsh5 (talk) 15:19, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- I came here to ask exactly the same question. -- JackofOz (talk) 06:15, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
- It's been removed now, but I think what the writer meant was, "his character is revealed to be gay". —Angr (talk) 08:54, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
TV series

Lordy, just a vague reference to the TV series that gained him his initial notoriety??? Someone needs to fill in the details of his 1961-1966 stint as the title character of Dr. Kildare.

American 'Hamlet'
[edit]What, no American Hamlets over a period of thirty-five years? Sounds unlikely. Is there a missing phrase here? Should it read, " becoming the first American to play the role with an English company (or, in England) since John Barrymore in 1929."? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Martin york (talk • contribs) 20:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Birth year
[edit]IMDb has 1934.
IBDb has 1935, as do the Film Reference source and many other places online.
Can we get this settled definitely one way or another? -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 21:45, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
