Unreliable Sources and Multiple Serious Issues[edit]

The cited sources are unreliable. This family has been the subject to a number of fraudulent genealogies, and this article appears to rely solely on this genre of low-quality genealogical publications.

This Richard Greene was never a knight. His 1617 will describes him as "gentleman". See http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/D899376

The article also erroneously uses the date of probate of the will as the death date.

It also does not appear that this article meets wikipedia's notability standard. This article should probably be deleted, as all reliable evidence of this person's life suggests that his only notability is based on purportedlt being the brother an early American immigrant, and even that claim is highly suspect due to reliance on evidence which can only be found in notes provided by the genealogical forger Horatio Gates Somerby in Clarke, Louise Brownell.
