Compound Household in London

[edit]

According to the section "Early Career", "This cohabitation of two unmarried women with their partners, one of whom was himself married, was calmly accepted by some but shocked many who ostracised them." According to their articles, both Horne and Smith were married to other women. Am I missing something? Should we say, "both of whom were married to other women"?
