The "Trivia" entry regarding the "Rich Backstabber" award seems pointless and ripe for deletion. It shed nos light on Rich, but only on the ninnies (doubtless including the editor of the entry) responsible for this award. Why was the following deleted - seems relevant to me (I'm not the author)?

"In 2006, he was selected by BBC History Magazine as the 16th century's "worst Briton".[1]"

Item of Discussion

[edit]

1. In the paragraph of Early life it states he is described as 54 in 1551 giving a birth Year c1497.
N.B. to be Age 54 they have to achieve that age sometime in the period of the preceeding year to the date it is given. so a proper estimate is c1496

2. In Later Paragraph it describes him as retiring in 1551 due to ill health and now being 60 Years old. so if you take that then an estimate of his birth is c1490

Role under Queen Mary

[edit]

Rich continued liquidating the Crown's enemies under Edward's Catholic successor, Queen Mary, which the current introduction fails to reflect. Richard Comaish (talk) 23:40, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
