There's probably more out there as well. Softlavender (talk) 10:36, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
Names of family members
[edit]@Softlavender Why do you care about removing the names of his surviving family so much? WP:BLPNAME is pretty clear that names may be included. "The names of any immediate, former, or significant family members or any significant relationship of the subject of a BLP may be part of an article, if reliably sourced, subject to editorial discretion that such information is relevant to a reader's complete understanding of the subject." In the case of a professional writer and former professional actress (who appeared on national TV and in a broadway play) and who engages in public works and is borderline notable herself...that seems relevant to me? I certainly have more sources if that's the issue. Justinkrivers (talk) 12:52, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- I think you need to re-read the entirety of WP:BLPNAME rather than cherry-picking 20%. It's trivia; it offers no significant understanding to the reader; Richard Zobel is barely notable (per Wikipedia standards) himself; neither relative is notable. Softlavender (talk) 01:40, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
- I am experienced editor and I don't agree with your very narrow interpretation, but if you want to chill work on this article, that's fine. I'm not particularly interested in the subject I just happen to have a lot of sources that were relevant. Justinkrivers (talk) 02:33, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
