Age at debut[edit]

surely it should be 8 as she debuted in May but born in June? (QueenAlexandria) UTC 27TH MAY 2019 14:14

Reeeeee-ho[edit]

Why isn't the proper pronunciation on the wiki? Jim Cornette knows more about wrestling than just about anyone, and if he says it's "Reeeee-ho" that's gotta be right. Diubleweiner (talk) 15:57, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Real name[edit]

There is no source for her real name because her real name is private. "里歩" spells "Ri-ho", not "Riho Hime (里歩姫)". 里歩姫 (Riho-hime) was her portrayal of an alternate character Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). (https://ameblo.jp/gtmvsakura/entry-11604147488.html, https://twitter.com/EmiSakura_gtmv/status/383611830351847424). Profightdb is not a reliable source for this information because they have no verifiable citation. I'd suggest anyone who wants accurate info about Riho use the Japanese page from now on, instead of this one because it spreads false information. Kaaragekun (talk) 20:38, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:ABOUTSELF. If the links you provided are undoubtedly written by Riho herself, then they would work as a source for her correct name. Aguy777 (talk) 21:14, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hime姫 means princess in Japanese, it is not a last name of any sort, nor does the kanji given in the article spell that name, only Riho. Someone, probably without any knowledge of Japanese, got confused and thought that her old gimmick name was her real name. The Japanese language wiki has her name as just Riho. Her real name is not public knowledge, which is not that unusual in Pro Wrestling. As for the links above they are written by Emi Sakura, her coach, not that it matters since it doesn't give her real name. Dwayne Johnson's real middle name is not The Rock!! Yes, '姫' does mean princess. And I am well aware that real names are not always public knowledge within professional wrestling. This article had gone through a fair amount of name-related vandalism at the time of the previous talk-page messages being posted (heck, see the one literally right above this one for an example), and my own knowledge of Japanese was not enough that I could read the sources properly. With that in mind, I had reverted the IPs that were vandalizing the page, and informed Kaaragekun that a reliable source for the correct name would be needed. I have not been on this page since then, so, even though I can now read enough Japanese to get through the sources, the name has not yet been changed. For what it's worth, the incorrect name seems to come from an edit this February that was never looked over properly: [1]. I've now changed it to be the name given within the sources. Neither her ring name, nor her real name are Riho Hime. Riho is her ring name. Her real name is unknown. 174.74.165.50 (talk) 06:57, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
