Most significant article issues[edit]

As stated in the last edit summary, bravo to the committed editors here, the sourcing of this article far surpasses many others of this article subject and type.

The most significant article issues, as of this date, in this longstanding editor's opinion, are:

the in-creep of unsourced entries into most of the lists of this artist's work,
the reliance on editor translations of the subset of entries that are sourced solely to a Japanese language-only single source, the majority of which (>50%) are from the same mixed English-Japanese database, and
the reference to institutions, genre's, etc., that absent explanation and citations, are simply jargon to the usual, inexpert reader.

The additional citation of a note that appears as a "Translation Disclaimer" can be removed at every instance where, either the entry appears as an English title at the Japanese VADB database citation, or a second citation appears giving the combined Japanese and English titles (in effect offering the translation). In both cases, the English rendering in the WP text of the Japanese title should follow the source, and should not be WP:OR corrected by us editors.

In the cases where text appears that is clearly the result of a WP editor's translation work (sentences in the new Early life and Personal life sections), it is up to other editor's to decide whether this content should remain. I am in favor, temporarily, as these sentences present purported facts whose English renderings may, even if imperfect, allow for searching to provide further English language references, to support them and other parts of the article.

I've untagged the translation disclaimer from the Filmography section. The role names are coming mainly from the character names as depicted on the work's Wikipedia articles. Where the character name does not exist in an official translation, such as "Schoolgirl", then you might have a best attempt at a translation, whether it be google translate or myself since I was the primary editor on this. You can then look up the anime or video game credits and see how they are translated in the English dubs where appropriate. Same with media titles that don't have an English equivalent. For obscure video game titles, I look up Media Arts Database and related websites to find their English name.

As you can see, there are entries where the best attempt at finding a translation was not done, and thus they are left with both a machine translation and the kanji, such as: Ratisha Serkis ラティーシャ・サーキス, or Maji de Otaku na English! Ribbon-chan: Eigo de Tatakau Mahō Shōjo ja:マジでオタクなイングリッシュ！りぼんちゃん～英語で戦う魔法少女～ Those can be cleaned up or left there per WP:SOFIXIT and if you want to tag those entries individually, you can.

I've tagged the section with {{rough translation}} instead of one source, since "one source" implies the section is overly dependent on one source and that's probably not the case. The references could expand to include primaries / cite video game / cite episodes and websites showing the official credit, but GPH is used to simplify that effort.
