GA Review

[edit]
This review is transcluded from Talk:T-baneringen/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Comments:

  1. In the last sentence in the first paragraph of the lead, you use "connects" twice.
  2. In first sentence of next paragraph, no comma needed after "1980s".
  3. The sentences "A projection for the line was presented in 1991 by Oslo Sporveier. The line was estimated to have 54,000 riders each day." can be combined.
  4. In sentence "In 1992, the tram division of Oslo Sporveier launched an alternative Ring Line, that would have been built as a light rail, using in part the existing tramway.", comma not needed after "Ring Line".
  5. "it would have 38 instead of 16 stops, and a travel time of 34 instead of 22 minutes": change to "it would have 38 stops instead of 16 stops, and a travel time of 34 mintues instead of 22 minutes"
  6. "at grade" should be hyphenated.
  7. In sentence "Also the Norwegian Public Roads Administration protested to the plans, and stated that funding should be allocated to upgrading Ring 3 to six lanes before public transport investments were made in the area", add comma after "also".
  8. "were agreed of the distribution of funding" sounds awkward.
  9. The sentence "Not until March 2000 did the city council except the guarantees from the state for part of the funding." needs to be reworded.
  10. In the second-to-last paragraph of the history section, there are many short sentences. Can these be combined?
  11. In sentence "A report published by the city in 2007 declared the line a success, and that all goals for the line had been exceeded.", remove comma after "success".
  12. Remove comma after "2007" in next sentence.
  13. What is "BI"?
  14. "The ring" sounds colliqual.
  15. "increased the daily number of public transport trips with 11,000" sounds awkward.
  16. "The station at Storo at the entrance to the tunnel." is a sentence fragment.
  17. Can you combine some of the shorter sentences in the Route section such as "It also serves as a bus hub."?
  18. "The Hasle Line is proposed connection": add "a" after "is".
  19. Remove hyphen after "Ring"
  20. Can you combine some of the short sentences in the second paragraph of the Service section?

[edit]

Is T2ds a typo, or a technical name? Should it be "T2000s"? Geschichte (talk) 22:41, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
