RB Traditions[edit]

I attempted to add the RB traditions on the page. BrynMawrQueen (talk) 19:10, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And I removed them. They are copyrighted © 2018 River Bluff High School Athletics, and are not encyclopedic even if rewritten. Meters (talk) 19:55, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What might be of more importance is the fact that the school site has a very interesting history. As far as I know, the story goes back to the American Revolution. Maybe even beyond that. I wrote about it in the talk section for this article last month in a bit more detail. ColoringSnake (talk) 02:19, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Slave plantation history, etc.[edit]

The school's build site actually has a lot of historical significance. Some things I've heard is that it was once the location of a slave plantation that involved an armed fight during the Revolution. There's also a located graveyard on campus which are thought to be soldiers from what I've been told. Keep in mind those are just a few of the things that I remember off the top of my head.

I will have to do more research, but needless to say that the history section for this school is due for a massive addition. I know one of the teachers there, Michael Burgess (he's a certified historian who was also bestowed an award by The South Carolina Society Daughters of the American Revolution), has probably everything you need to know about this school's past in his knowledge. I can discuss this stuff further with him whenever I have time. I know him as one of my teachers. ColoringSnake (talk) 02:48, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
