He is a cosponsor of 59 bills or resolutions, so I am removing the reference to his cosponsorship of one particular bill. QuailGate 03:25, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

That's a good idea, but it would be a nice addition to have some information about his general politics and votes that he's made.--Gloriamarie 00:51, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

No disagreement here - just seemes like something more notable should be included. QuailGate (talk) 21:05, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

I think the Biography section is ridiculous. That he named his children after the characters in the Book of Mormon is pointless. Also where his children work have no bearing on Rob Bishop’s biography. I also suggest that a section called Controversy be created that covers his title, King of Earmarks, as reported by the Deseret News[1]. --Urnman (talk) 03:49, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

It's a niggling detail, but the use of "but" in the phrase "He voted against No Child Left Behind but supports school vouchers" implies that the two positions are somehow surprising together — which they're not. It should be "and", as in "He voted against No Child Left Behind and supports school vouchers". Silus Grok (talk) 05:16, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Policy

There seems to be a dispute over the policy section. [2] Let's discuss it here rather than reverting each other.   Will Beback  talk  00:39, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

These types of sections are usualy sub-sectioned into the particular issue, the subject's views, and then criticism. Right now the section is unbalanced by only covering the opposition. – Lionel (talk) 23:47, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
Apologies for not replying earlier, didn't see anything on my watchlist. Frankly, I don't have a viewpoint on Bishop, but my concern is that it is weighted towards the opposition, as Lionel says. Spalds (talk) 20:58, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

A series of updates to promote neutrality is needed as of 12/14/2020 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Auxilium Intelligentia (talkcontribs) 18:29, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
