The result of the move request was: MOVED to Rob Fenwick. There is complete consensus to move the article from the honorific "Sir" and that other disambiguation is unnecessary. While both "Robert Fenwick" and "Rob Fenwick" have been mentioned as a new title, "Rob" seems to be most commonly used in the article's sources and has the added benefit that the Robert Fenwick disambiguation page can remain where it is. Sir Robert FenwickRobert Fenwick (New Zealand environmentalist) – Despite among the entries in Robert Fenwick (disambiguation), the New Zealander was the only one called Robert Fenwick as common name, however, the incoming link of the disambiguation page shown there was a MP of the United Kingdom in the 1650s, was also called Robert Fenwick, while also likely a noble the have the prefix Sir, the New Zealander may need a new disambiguater, or drop it entirely and just required to clean up the incoming link of the disambiguation page Matthew_hk tc 10:24, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just use Robert Fenwick and move that to Robert Fenwick (disambiguation). He's the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the full name, and there are only three notable ones, so this is not a big deal. "Sir" has to go; we do not disambiguate by prefixing "Sir" or "Dame", since the average reader is unlikely to already possess the information (especially given that these are most often British titles, and only the top levels of the Order of the British Empire actually confer sir/dame titles – even if you know someone has some kind of MBE, OBE, etc., but aren't sure which one, you won't know that they're a sir/dame. Anyway, "(New Zealand environmentalist)" fails WP:ATDAB, WP:CONCISE, WP:DAB. If this had to be disambiguated, "(environmentalist)" would suffice.  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  13:15, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to Rob Fenwick. This is what he is most commonly known as, and is used more often than "Robert" in the article [at time of writing]. This is also the page name that the articles containing red links point to [at time of writing]. Nurg (talk) 08:51, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to Robert Fenwick instead, as he is clearly the primary topic. ToThAc (talk) 16:14, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to Rob Fenwick. Appears to be his common name. We certainly don't usually use "Sir" as a disambiguator. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:17, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
