Links incorrectly to a Yolande of Flanders who lived 1175 to 1219, daughter of Baldwin V of Flanders and wife of Peter de Courtenay. Ellayhere (talk) 15:54, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edits[edit]

Page edited to ensure that it no longer links to the wrong woman as noted above. Robert's mother was the Yolande of Flanders or de Dampierre who was a granddaughter of Robert III, Count of Flanders. A page does not yet exist for Robert's mother. The link is now to a page 'Yolande of Flanders, Countess of Bar' which as not yet been created.

In addition the article has been rearranged somewhat so that, for example, the issues of his mother's regency are all treated within the same passage. Beyond that changes have been made to improve clarity and tighten up the English - for example by adding the expressions 'the younger' and 'the elder' to the passage dealing with Robert and his grandson who was also named Robert.

I don't believe that any of the changes will be considered contentious and would appreciate constructive feedback. I propose to create an article stub for Yolande, unless someone would care to beat me to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ellayhere (talkcontribs) 07:47, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
