Status

Not to offend anyone, but a person's status depends on which side of history one sides. While Barnes may have been a martyr in the eyes do some, he was a heretic to others. This needs to be clarified in the opening paragraph which is somewhat sketchy, IMO. Taram (talk) 16:47, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest reading a dictionary on the definition of the word. All it means is someone who dies for refusing to deny what he believes in. Whether or not one agrees with the philosophy of the "martyr" is immaterial. 50.111.6.33 (talk) 06:09, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
