I feel very certain the Robert Hindmarsh newer was a methodist preacher. We do know that his father James Hindmarsh was. So unless someone comes up with new evidence it should be changed. OlafHauptmann (talk) 16:26, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article states that Robert Hindmarsh was one of the founders of "Swedenborgianism." I think "Swedenborgianism" is ambitious in this context. (The founding of Swedenborgianism might as well be attributed to Swedenborg). I think it would be much more accurate to say that Hindmarsh was one of the founders of "the first New Church organization." It could be added that "this organization is the General Conference."
In addition someone ought to start an article about the General Conference of the New Church.(OlafHauptmann (talk) 15:08, 11 December 2008 (UTC)).[reply]
