Two Stockton stations

[edit]

I'd suggest not merging the two Stockton station articles, since they refer to two different locations. This article is the former Southern Pacific station, used by Amtrak trains to/from Sacramento; the facility described in Stockton (Amtrak station) is the former Santa Fe depot, used by trains to/from Oakland. Unless there are any objections, I'll remove the merge template. Pitamakan (talk) 16:07, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed rename to "Robert J. Cabral Station"

[edit]

Since this is both an ACE station and an Amtrak station, and since it's not the only station in Stockton, the current name of "Stockton (ACE station)" seems doubly inappropriate. It appears that the official name of the station is "Robert J. Cabral Station", so I'd like to rename the article to this. The lede can explain any alternative names used (Amtrak refers to this as the "Stockton - Downtown" station, for example).--NapoliRoma (talk) 19:44, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Remove reference to Stockton in the Bay Area

[edit]

I suggest ending the first sentence at Stockton, removing the reference to the Bay Area, since Stockton is not part of the Bay Area. If no objections, let's remove it in a few days. --Mistakefinder (talk) 14:40, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

passenger tally

[edit]

Both Amtrak and ACE serve this station. It would be helpful to include passenger counts for both service operators. Unfortunately, few of the other ACE stations seem to include passenger counts, hence the information may be hard to find. Pedro Xing (talk) 04:58, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

passenger discontinuance

[edit]

Presumably, this station hadn't been used for some time when ACE started service here in 1998. What was the last service to stop here before them? Mjdestroyerofworlds (talk) 01:50, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
