Problematic behavior buried at bottom of article.

[edit]

This guy sounds like at worst a serious douchebag, and in any event a seriously flawed individual. Why is his nasty treatment of the new Nobel laureate buried at the bottom of the article and in language which anyone but a hyper-diligent reader would miss completely? A similar question could be asked of probably thousands of WP articles, including, just for example, the article about the senior U.S. senator from New Jersey. 86.115.22.242 (talk) 10:05, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Because, all things considered, it was a minor aspect of Suhadolnik's life. The majority of coverage of him - that I was able to find, anyway - was about his professional history and accomplishments. True, I only heard of him in the first place because of how shamefully he treated Kariko, but if that had been all I'd been able to find about him, I wouldn't have written the article. I agree with DS, while he doesn't necessarily sound like a wonderful person, it does seem to be a relatively minor part about him. His notability is established elsewhere, and this incident is far from the only thing that makes him notable. I think the prose in the article is fine as it is, and the section header is fine as it is. Phuzion (talk) 14:42, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
