Hm.. as the principal editor on this article, I'd really appreciate it if the short form footnotes weren't made into templates. They work just fine as short little bits of text and are easier to maintain that way. Ealdgyth - Talk 17:32, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Robert de Bethune" seems like an odd combination of French "de" and unaccented Béthune. Is there any reason not to follow the ODNB and use the accent? Srnec (talk) 03:10, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
