imprisoned for life ?![edit]

In the Rebellion of 1088's article, Robert is said to have been imprisoned for life. I haven't found any source for that statement. Anyone can prove it's wrong/false ? Regards, --PurpleHz 19:18, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well that's wrong, he was put in jail for life after his 1095 plot. PurpleHz (talk) 01:53, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

D.Poste, who is the author of the DNB article ? I would bet on Le Patourel). Regards, PurpleHz (talk) 01:53, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The author is William M. Aird, but among his sources he cites J. Le Patourel, ‘Geoffrey of Montbray, bishop of Coutances'. Dposte46 (talk) 09:49, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
