I did not know[edit]

I did not know what was said about the Robertsbridge URC, but it is true. If all Nonconformist Churches look as awful as this one I will never visit one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.220.75.57 (talk) 11:09, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I will reserve judgment—although I will say that it certainly stood out on Robertsbridge High Street when I visited to take the photos. Click through the links in the "Protestant Nonconformism in Sussex" box at the bottom to see some other local Nonconformist churches: there are some very nice ones. (Perhaps avoid this one though: it's by the same architect.) If it's any consolation, the United Reformed Church in my home village was fitted with a ghastly artificial stone façade in the 1960s...
