More info
Shouldn't there be a little more information about a company than just two or three scandals in which it was involved?
How about the number of employees? More information about research activity, non-drug business, there's so much to tell about a company... It feels like company is reduced to 75% scandals and 25% sceleton facts. Maybe that's a strange weighting?
- This isn't really a very good article. The scandals are relevant but there's nothing useful that I came looking for. I'll watch this and improve it soon. Whilding87 17:52, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Animal Testing
I think there should be more information and one external link referring to how they test their products. This is not mentioned anywhere on their website; funny, that. I intend to find a suitable link and create some content to accompany it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blazemore (talk • contribs) 14:02, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
-> Untrue, there is a position paper on animal Research on the roche webpage. [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.3.50.254 (talk) 13:51, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
dash in title
I think this is a case where WP:MOSDASH has to give way to absurd usage out there, since the guy who started the company called himself "Fritz Hoffmann-La Roche" ("Hoffman-La", their nickname should be). The hyphen is actually correct when jamming two surnames together, but the spaced "La Roche makes an unspaced separator very awkward. You'd really like "Hoffmann – La Roche", with a spaced en dash, but that is not to be, and regrettably the company logo people never saw that option to make it look nicer. It's no big deal, though. Tony (talk) 03:26, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- On checking with User:Noetica, I have to say that the title probably needs to be moved to Hoffmann-La Roche, with redirects from the present title and from versions that include "Ltd." and "Ltd". Tony (talk) 04:08, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Unwieldy list of locations
Does the huge unwieldy list of their locations in the opening paragraph need to be there? I'll simplify it in a week if nobody objects. --Cptbigglesworth266 (talk) 13:15, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

Pharmaceuticals
this edit, restored here, is raw advertising, complete with a spam link. This is not what we do here.
The "content" is:
- Pharmaceuticals
Hoffmann-La Roche is strong in the field pharmaceuticals for cancer treatment, against virus diseases and for treatment of metabolic diseases.
Product overview of Roche pharmaceuticals in alphabetical order
It does not get more WP:PROMO than that. The first sentence is unsourced and the second line is just a spam link. There is no information here. Jytdog (talk) 20:49, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
- Look at any other pharmaceutical company described in wikipedia and at any site you will find a list of their products e.g. Novartis Bayer
- Go on and block everything - if someone wants to read something about pharmaceutical companies this must be spam - advertisement - disruptive writing.
- If there are references with external links - sometimes it is mot easy for you to make interpretation of the information - I understand - but I am sorry to inform but at external links the delete functions is not that easy to handle than here.Giessauf A (talk) 21:26, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
- Please read WP:INDENT; it is a basic convention for talk pages in en-Wikipedia.
- Sure look at Bayer#Products. That section is not perfect but most of it is independently sourced. Jytdog (talk) 21:43, 4 October 2017 (UTC)

cobas 8000 modular analyzer series
Here is a marketing video that describes the Roche cobas 8000 modular analyzer series, which is used with Roche's coronavirus test. This is the system that allows a lab to analyze millions of tests, rather than the hundreds or thousands that a small-scale lab like the CDC labs were using.

Proposed merge of Roche Diagnostics into Hoffmann-La Roche
Roche Diagnostics is just a division of Hoffmann-La Roche with no independent notability. — kashmīrī TALK 08:25, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
Requested move 1 June 2021
- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Moved to Roche and Roche→Roche (disambiguation). While care should be exercised on "primary topic grabs", this one seems clearcut and not likely to change in the near future. No such user (talk) 09:26, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
Hoffmann-La Roche → F. Hoffmann-La Roche – The company's official name is F. Hoffmann–La Roche, short: Roche. I have never come across a version without the initial F. I recommend moving to the actual official name (given that Roche is a disambig page). — kashmīrī TALK 18:19, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- Move to Roche. The current dabpage is mostly PTMs, which I have deleted, and nothing there seems particularly notable. This page, on the other hand, gets 800+ daily hits, and it's pretty clear to me that sources use "Roche" as the common name. 162 etc. (talk) 19:01, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
