Untitled[edit]

I removed both sections about the band Flame Dream. They read like a (very badly written) advertisement for this band, furthermore the discographies of this band have no place in an article about Swiss rock, as there is no place for the discographies of every Swiss rock band.

Below is the removed text: 130.92.9.56 (talk) 20:33, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In 1978 Flame Dream a progressive rock band from Lucerne released their first album "Calatea" on Philips Records; a band that could have been compared to Genesis during the Peter Gabriel era (similar vocals flutes, keyboards) with influences of Van Der Graaf Generator (dark climates and sax),Yes, and Gentle Giant .Other prog bands include the Italian-speaking Marco Zappa and the Francophone Pacific Sound.

Possibly the most successful progressive bands to come from Switzerland,Weggis Lucerne Switzerland progressive rock's Flame Dream(with new member Californian Los Angeles guitarist Dale Hauskins);released their third album "Out In The Dark" on Vertigo Records, Phonogram hiring English producer John Acock(Steve Hackett).Flame Dream continued to tour extensively throughout Switzerland and Europe using five semi trucks along with eighteen roadies, carrying a spectacular sound system,a color clustered giant extravagant light show.Recording four more albums, and three singles on the Vertigo label;and mostly recording at Patrick Moraz's Aquarius Studios in Geneva,Switzerland along with engineer Jean Ristori.Patrick Moraz Aquarius Studios, which was the first one with 48 tracks facilities in Geneva , Switzerland was a creative mega magnetic for recording signed European progressive rock bands, including Eloy, English jazz fusion guitarist John McLaughlin and Lucerne Weggis Switzerland's progressive rock band Flame Dream ;and in 1980 recruited very young Californian Los Angeles guitarist Dale Hauskins as a member of Flame Dream .
