Accurate career description?

[edit]

I am not at all certain that the first sentence of the article is really true. Angell's career has been primarily as a fiction editor at the New Yorker, and while he has definitely written many memorable pieces on baseball I don't see how that has been his entire career. Besides, I imagine that plenty of traditional "sportswriters" have specialized in baseball to the exclusion of other sports. --Wspencer11 (talk to me...) 14:32, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I've made the change, for what it's worth. --Wspencer11 (talk to me...) 15:44, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not a short story writer

[edit]

Angell was categorized in this article as a "short story writer." He may have had a few short stories published here and there (but none that I know of); nonetheless, that's hardly an accurate categorization for him. I also double-checked the ISBN for Let Me Finish, which is correct, and linked to a 1945 article published by him. —207.69.139.11 19:47, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
