Untitled[edit]

Discrepancy in dates on the page. Roger Mortimer is given the birth/death dates of 11 April 1375 / 20 July 1393 at the top of the page, but is said to have been killed in August 1393 under "Conflict in Ireland." It's a small discrepancy from 700 years ago, but the inconsistency on the same page is sort of annoying. Most sources go with 20 July. I have NOT changed anything on the page, because I do not have an authoritative source at hand.

(Presumably you mean 1498, not 1493.) Apparently the most-used primary sources disagree on the day and month of his death. I don't know if any recent historical work has clarified the matter. Loren Rosen 07:13, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good source[edit]

The Steven and Lee source is public domain, so it may be copied freely. Please do use citations, though. Cheers. HausTalk 07:15, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discrepancy in his mother's death date[edit]

On the page for his mother Philippa of Clarence it's given as 1382, but here it's "before 7 January 1378." Which is it? I know dates can be off a little, given it's the MIddle Ages, but this is a bit much. :-)108.90.91.140 (talk) 22:14, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy. I've changed the date of death in the article on Philippa of Clarence to conform to this one, and added two citations for the change. NinaGreen (talk) 22:54, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
