Rogersville, Tennessee is a small town located near the Appalachian Mountains. The population isn't too big 4,240 people as of July 2005. There are 2,401 females and 1,389 males. Rogersville is in Hawkins County and the zip code is 37857. The avarage median income is $23,275 as of the year 2000. Schools include Rogersville city School, A Kingergarten Through 8th grade school. The school has three levels and two gyms. The high school is Cheerokee High. Cherokee has a NJROTC class and out door greenhouses for the gardening class. A popular place for kids to hang out on a hot summer day is at Rogersville City Pool. It is an outdoor pool open all summer long. Food is avalible for hungry swimmers. Any thing from Candy to cheesy fries to soda is avalible. Heratige days are in the autumn days complete with booths with a variety of woodworking crafts, food and blow up castles.
