Wikipedia is NOT a promotional medium to just ignore critical aspects of an individual[edit]

Wikipedia is NOT a promotional medium to just ignore critical aspects of an individual. We cant just mention lovey-dovey things for that person. If there are sufficient third-party reliable sources showing that person's other side, it has to be there on that article page. It is well known that Rohit Sardana was part of the Laptop media, favouring the ruling party at the Centre and giving controversial statements/tweets on minority community.--Madhusmitabishoi (talk) 17:00, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So suggest hot to add this.Slatersteven (talk) 08:49, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Slatersteven:, @Madhusmitabishoi: In an older version [1], this information was there in controversies section. It was merged in Career section later on [2]. If some incident is missing, just add it. We'll fix the issues if any in editing.  Comment: His biasness towards a particular community and controversies has already been added in the last paragraph of 'Career' section. Thank you. Run n Fly (talk) 11:22, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Then I am not sure what more needs to be said.Slatersteven (talk) 11:22, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In the section it is mentioned that he was criticised for demonizing Muslims, encouraging jingoism and strengthening the Hindu-Muslim dichotomy through his show.[7][8][9][10] [11] Sardana was considered to be a part of the pro-government media establishment in India and has also been criticised for subservience towards Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. is sufficient to highlight the point raised by Madhusmitabishoi. Thank you. Run n Fly (talk) 11:27, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

He has been diagnosed with COVID-19. --117.241.248.156 (talk) 18:52, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just noting[edit]

OpIndia is writing about this article, and it has a slight spike in readership. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 07:50, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is that a fact or an Opinion? Are you going to back that up with references or not? What relevance does any of what you said contribute to Wikipedia? OpIndia is described in Wikipedia with source references as a fake news organisation, so why would any of what they say matter? SumeetJi (talk) 08:38, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is a fact that there is a spike in readership [1]. And that OpIndia wrote about this article. The relevance is that there may be an influx of new editors. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:48, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Add this to career- He had a Nazi ideology and many of his works were violently against muslims For eg - Muslim Free India. He also was responsible for many communal unrests in North India. He wasn't merely a Journalist but also so called revolutionary who believed in the teachings of Godse. He was also very often seen mentioning "Go to Pakistan", "Minority appeasement" and Violent naming of News headlines and was a staunch and open supporter of extreme right wing parties." 77.21.253.117 (talk) 09:08, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Remove "The show has been compared to Radio Rwanda and he was criticised for demonizing Muslims, encouraging jingoism and strengthening the Hindu-Muslim dichotomy through his show" Reason: the references stated [6,7,8,9,10] are all from a biased media channel (like thePrint) or from other such non reliable sources. These references cannot be used as a proof as it depicts a writers view and not a fact. Wikipedia shouldn't be used to vilify a person, who is dead now and cannot defend himself. JustAnotherIndianBoy (talk) 15:37, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well we do not say it is " demonizing Muslims, encouraging jingoism and strengthening the Hindu-Muslim dichotomy" we say "it has been compared to". We are not saying it is a fact, we are saying it is an opinion.Slatersteven (talk) 15:40, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
