The result of the move request was: Moved to Roilya Ranaivosoa. It does seem like the original long form "Marie Hanitra Roilya Ranaivosoa" is neck and neck with the original proposal of "Hanitra Ranaivosoa" but I think there's a bit of consensus that "Roilya Ranaivosoa" may be the most common of all in English, and WP:CONCISE as well. — Amakuru (talk) 10:50, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Available references seem to refer to the article's subject by both names: some by the current name of the article, and some by the proposed move location. At first glance, the WP:COMMONNAME claim isn't immediately apparent. Steel1943 (talk) 21:05, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: There's no real opposition, but no evidence either. I'm reluctant to move without evidence, but even more reluctant to close as no consensus without any explicit opposition. Worth relisting once I guess, but both names seem equally acceptable based on the above, so should we prefer the shorter name as more concise? Noting also it's a BLP. Very good catch. That makes me think that this might be an unusual case (the rules can't cover every possibility, that's why we have wp:IAR) and that the best name for the readers' benefit is the full name, as at present. Andrewa (talk) 09:47, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Actually I think I made a mistake here with this nomination, if you google her name in French the result is mostly Roilya Ranaivosoa as another user already stated the Rio 2016 website is also using this name, I think the article should be moved to Roilya Ranaivosoa instead of what I asked for. It does seem unlikely that the current name is the common name in English. That is the question here. Please read WP:AT, or does someone who has want to comment? Or preferably !vote? Relisting again. We'll get there! Andrewa (talk) 07:49, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
