titular bishop[edit]

This is not the way the phrase is used. Titular bishop means "bishop of a see that no longer exists as a see" - in this case he holds the title but has been impeded from taking the seat. I understand this is painful so I ask here before I remove the phrase. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 16:19, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Jim1138: evidently we both missed false information inserted back in July. I just followed the sources linked and verified that they did not support the assertions in the final paragraph of the "Leadership" section.
